n February 2007, the 1st course in Gaston County was opened at beautiful Rankin Lake Park in Gastonia. The course is now a full 18 holes, with the back 9 completed in late August. Hole #1 starts right in front of the clubhouse, check it out!

We are currently working on the following projects at Rankin Lake:

  • A course kiosk (map, message board, etc.) to be installed near hole #1.
  • Some exciting new alternate pin placements!
  • Tee signs for the back 9 holes.
  • Brush, stump, and vine removal on the back 9.
  • Bridging the creek on hole #5.
